Jelly’s Bean Won Best Series at the Vietnam Animation IP Contest 2025!

At the Vietnam Animation IP Contest 2025, organized by the Vietnam Association for VFX and Animation (VAVA), Sang Y Group’s IP Jelly’s Bean proudly claimed the Short & Series Film category award.

On October 24, the final round of the Vietnam Animation IP Contest officially took place. Among many standout submissions, Jelly’s Bean, produced by Sang Y Group's DeeDee Animation Studio, impressed the jury and secured the highest award in the Short & Series Film category.

Jelly’s Bean follows the imaginative adventures of two young friends Jelly and Bean as they explore a whimsical world seen through the eyes of a child. In Bong Village, the ordinary becomes extraordinary! Each of their journey carries a gentle message about kindness, innocence, and belief in good things. Even when their little magical attempts lead to unexpected troubles, the duo’s optimism continues to brighten the village with colors and laughter.

Jelly’s Bean is a magical journey into the world of childhood imagination

With the aspiration to create an animated series for children that adults can also enjoy, director Hà Huy Hoàng shared his thoughts:

“Jelly’s Bean was developed with the desire to rekindle the sense of wonder and optimism that many of us grown-ups have unintentionally lost touch with since childhood. Through Jelly and Bean, I want to remind the younger generation to hold on to that magic and nurture it so they can grow into kinder individuals and help build a more compassionate world. At the same time, I also hope that Jelly’s Bean will allow the ‘former children’ among us to relive that pure feeling, to imagine, to dream, and to believe in the good.”

Following the competition, the Proof of Concept video for Jelly’s Bean was released on DeeDee Animation Studio’s official Facebook page, giving audiences their first glimpse into the magical world of Jelly and Bean. Within just two days, the nearly 3-minute video gained over 100,000 organic views, proving the strong appeal and potential of the project.
