Legendary Shin-ei Animation visits Sang Y Group

On July 3rd, 2024, Sang Y Group had the honor of welcoming representatives from Shin-Ei Animation - Mr. Motomichi Araki (Assistant General Manager) and Mr. Yuichi Nagata (Producer) - to our Hanoi office.

Celebrating Shin-Ei Animation’s Visit to Sang Y Group

Shin-Ei Animation is a renowned animation studio based in Tokyo, Japan, home to some of the most iconic and beloved animated series such as Doraemon and Crayon Shin-Chan. For many members of Sang Y, these shows were not just cartoons - they were cherished parts of childhood and early sparks of creative passion. That’s why the whole Sang Y team was thrilled and truly excited to welcome our special guests - creators of the very characters we grew up loving.

This visit wasn’t just a business meeting; it was a meaningful milestone that affirmed the growing trust and collaboration between the two studios. Back in 2021, Sang Y and Shin-Ei Animation worked together on Chimimo—our first joint venture and a fun, inspiring beginning to our creative partnership. Three years later, hosting Shin-Ei at Sang Y’s studio marked a new chapter in this evolving relationship.

During their stay in Hanoi, the Shin-Ei representatives toured our workspace, engaged with the production team, and exchanged insights in an open and friendly atmosphere. Despite cultural differences, we found common ground in a shared language: a deep love for animation and a desire to tell stories that move people.

This visit also laid the foundation for our next collaboration. While it’s still early in the process, the encouraging words and strong support from Shin-Ei have left a lasting impact on our team and inspired us to keep moving forward with confidence.
